JUDGMENT Devan Ramachandran, J.

The limited plea of the petitioners is that the learned Family Court, Pathanamthitta, be directed to take up Ext.P6 application – namely I.A.No.2/2025 in O.P.(Others)No.451/2025 – and dispose it of within a time frame to be fixed by this Court. They also seek that they be issued a copy of the said Original Petition.

2. On hearing Smt.R.Ranjanie – learned counsel for the petitioners, on the afore lines on 20.02.2026, we had called for a report from the learned Family Court, which is now available. 3. The learned Family Court informs us that the matter is next listed to 18.03.2026 and that I.A.No.2/2025 will be disposed of on that day itself, if possible. We find this to be apposite and hence, are of the view that this Original Petition deserves to be disposed of on such terms.

In the afore circumstances, this Original Petition is disposed of, recording the report from the learned Family Court, that I.A.No.2/2025 will be disposed of either on 18.03.2026 itself, or not later than one month thereafter.

As regards the prayer of the petitioners for the copy of the Original Petition, we direct the learned Family Court to ensure that service of such is made as per law.
