JUDGMENT
1. The grievance of the Petitioner is that Ext.P2 Application dated
23.05.2024 submitted by the Respondent No.3 - Oil Marketing Company to the Respondent No.1 seeking a No Objection Certificate under Rule 144 of the Petroleum Rules , 2002, to enable the Petitioner to establish a Petroleum Retail Outlet is still pending. The Petitioner has now received Ext.P3 Notice from the Respondent No.3, alleging that the Petitioner has not made sufficient progress as per the letter of indent issued by the Respondent No.3. The Petitioner could not proceed with the establishment of the outlet on account of the non-issuance of NOC by the Respondent No.1. The Respondent No.1 is to be directed to dispose of Ext.P2 Application emergently.
2. In the light of the aforesaid submissions, I dispose of this Writ Petition, directing the Respondent No.1 to dispose of Ext.P2 Application within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a certified copy of this judgment.
