JUDGMENT
The petitioner challenges Ext.P7 notice issued by the Board threatening disconnection on account of the default in making the current charge payments amounting to Rs. 5,84,207/- (Rupees five lakhs eighty four thousand two hundred and seven only). There is also a prayer to direct the respondents to enhance the connected load from 422 KW to 776.55 KW and to grant an instalment facility to pay off the amount mentioned in Ext.P7.
2. This Court had passed an interim order on 01.09.2025 staying the operation of Ext.P7 on condition that the petitioner deposits an amount of Rs.2,00,000/-. It is submitted by the learned counsel for the Board that the said order has been complied with.
3. The learned Standing Counsel for the Board submits that as on date the outstanding balance amount is Rs. 4,10,000/- (Rupees four lakhs ten thousand only) inclusive of interest remaining as payable under Ext.P7 demand. It is also submitted that for enhancement of the connected load, the petitioner has to offer a security deposit of Rs. 3,20,000/- (Rupees three lakhs twenty thousand only) and has also to produce the licence granted for running the industry.
