IN THE HIGH COURT OF KERALA AT ERNAKULAM
N. NAGARESH, J
DR. BINEESH P – Appellant
Versus
STATE OF KERALA – Respondent

Advocates:
For the Appellants/Petitioners: SRI.JOSEPH M.P.
For the Respondents: SMT. V.A. HARITHA, GOVERNMENT PLEADER

J U D G M E N T

Dated this the 20th day of February, 2026 The petitioners are working as Dental Surgeons under the National Health Mission (NHM) Project. According to the petitioners, they were appointed after a due selection process and have been in service for more than ten years. It is contended that the qualification and duties of Dental Surgeons in the National Health Mission being similar to that of Dental Surgeons in State service, the remuneration and other service benefits of the petitioners should be made equivalent to that of the Dental Surgeons. Voicing this demand, the petitioners have filed Ext.P1 representation before the 1st respondent.

2. In such circumstances, I deem it appropriate to dispose the writ petition, directing the

1st respondent to consider Ext.P1 and to pass appropriate orders thereon within three months after hearing one of the petitioners and a representative of the NHM.

Ordered accordingly.
