This Crl.M.C. is filed seeking a direction to the 2nd respondent to execute the arrest warrant as against the 5th respondent in Crime Nos.1463, 1495 and 1518 of 2019 of Alappuzha South Police Station. The allegation against the said respondent is that certain amounts were accepted by her by offering high rates of interest and on an agreement to return the principal amount on maturity. Inasmuch as neither the principal nor the interest has been repaid, Annexure A2 complaints were preferred and proceedings were initiated against the 5th respondent alleging commission of offences punishable under Sections 406 and 420 of the Indian Penal Code .
2. On 02.02.2026, this Court had recorded the submission of the learned Public Prosecutor that, as per the report received from the jurisdictional police station, namely, the Alappuzha South Police Station, no arrest warrants are pending against the
5th respondent.
