Court allows transfer of family court cases for convenience of both parties.

Headnote:This judgment examines the requests for transfer of proceedings pending before the Family Court, Alappuzha to the Family Court, Mavelikkara. Both parties consented to the transfer to Family Court, Thiruvalla for mutual convenience. The court determines that the transfer is justified given the circumstances, thereby allowing the transfer petitions as per agreement.

ORDER

These two applications have been filed seeking transfer of proceedings which are pending before the Family Court, Alappuzha to the Family Court, Mavelikkara.

2. The respondent has appeared through counsel. The counsel for the respondent submits that the respondent has no objection if the cases are transferred to the Family Court, Thiruvalla since it will be convenient for both sides. The counsel for the petitioner has also agreed.

3. In the above circumstances, these transfer petitions are allowed. OP(others) No.122 of 2024 and OP No.4 of 2025 pending before the Family Court, Alappuzha stand transferred to the Family Court, Thiruvalla for trial and disposal.
