Dismissal of appeal due to lack of prosecution under SC/ST (POA) Act.

Headnote:The appeal was filed under Section 14A of the SC/ST (Prevention of Atrocities) Act, 1989, challenging the dismissal of anticipatory bail. The appellant is the sole accused in Crime No.1865/2025. The court, upon hearing Counsel for the appellant, determined that the appeal was not pressed and accordingly dismissed it. The key issue was whether the anticipatory bail plea was justified under the provided statute. The court's reasoning emphasized the lack of necessity for further consideration, leading to the dismissal. Thus, this appeal stands dismissed as not pressed.
