O R D E R
This application is filed under Section 482 of the Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita, 2023 (for short, BNSS ), seeking pre-
arrest bail.
2. The applicant is the sole accused in Crime No.845/2025 of Vellathooval Police Station, Idukki District. The offences alleged are punishable under Sections 305 and 331(4)
of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita, 2023.
3. The prosecution case, in short, is that the applicant with the intention to commit theft in the house of the defacto complainant, on 18.10.2025 in between 09:00 pm and 10:00 pm., trespassed into the house of the defacto complainant at Kallar Vattayar kara, Anaviratty village, broke open the door lock and attempted to commit theft of currency notes worth Rs.33,000/-, a power bank worth Rs.2,000/-, a mobile charger worth Rs.1,000/- and a perfume worth Rs.800/- from the house. It is further alleged that the applicant also committed theft of cigarettes worth Rs.1,000/-from the shop of the defacto complainant and thereby committed the offences
