JUDGMENT

Dated this the 11^th day of March, 2026 The writ petition has been preferred challenging the non-

acceptance and rejection of nominations for the post of University Union Councillor in the college union elections conducted by the 5^th respondent. The writ petition has been pending since 2018. The election was scheduled on 16.08.2018.

Having regard to the contention raised in the writ petition, nothing survives for consideration. Accordingly, the writ petition is closed.
