JUDGMENT Dated this the 3rd day of March, 2026 The petitioner, who is an employee of the Kerala State Road Transport Corporation, has approached this Court seeking the following reliefs:
(a) Issue a writ of mandamus or other appropriate writ, order or direction commanding the respondents not to insist upon a Police Clearance Certificate for processing the petitioner’s claim for service benefits including grade promotion and other consequential benefits.
(b) Issue a writ of mandamus or other appropriate writ, order or direction directing the 2nd respondent to consider and pass appropriate orders in Ext.P7 representation forwarded to the 2nd respondent, after giving an opportunity of personal hearing to the petitioner.
(c) Direct the respondents to grant the petitioner the eligible grade promotion and consequential service benefits, together with all consequential monetary benefits.
