JUDGMENT

The Prayers in this Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India are as follows:-

i. To issue a writ of mandamus or any other appropriate writ, direction or order commanding the Respondent Nos. 1 to 3 to give appropriate direction to the State Crime Branch to immediately take over the investigation of all cases registered against ‘Southern Green Farming and Marketing Multi State Cooperative Society Ltd.’ (Farmfed)and/or the Petitioners in the light of Exhibit P5 communication issued by the Respondent No. 2 State Police Chief and ii. To issue a writ of mandamus or any other appropriate writ, direction or order commanding the Respondent Nos. 5 to 45 Station House Officers or the officers functioning under them to forthwith cease conducting any investigation into the cases registered against ‘Southern Green Farming and Marketing Multi State Cooperative Society Ltd.’ (Farmfed) and/or the Petitioners in the light of Exhibit P5 communication issued by the Respondent No. 2 State Police Chief and consequently transfer the investigation of all cases to the State Crime Branch.

iii. Dispense with the filing of English translation of vernacular documents; and iv. Pass such any other order, direction or reliefs as this Hon'ble Court may deem fit in the interest of justice, equity and good conscience.

2. The learned Public Prosecutor, on instructions, submitted that pursuant to Ext.P5, the State Police Chief has issued order Nos. D3-136040/2025/PHQ dated 19.02.2026 and D3- 136040/2025/PHQ dated 22.02.2026, transferring 133 crimes referred to therein to the State Crime Branch.

3. The submission is recorded. The learned Public Prosecutor is directed to serve a copy of the proceedings to the counsel appearing for the petitioners.

The writ petition stands closed.
