J The learned Standing Counsel appearing for the respondents submits that the Union of India has already challenged the order passed by this Court in the Writ Petition by filing an SLP bearing Diary No. 8695/2026. The same has been tagged with other identical matters and is posted for hearing on 01.04.2026 and hence prayed for closing the matter at present.
2. Submission of the learned Standing Counsel appearing for respondents are placed on record.
3. The learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the matter may be closed at this stage by granting liberty to revive the contempt petition. Considering the submissions made by both sides, we are of the view that the contempt petition deserves to be closed for the present, with liberty to the petitioner to revive the petition after the disposal of the SLP by the Hon’ble Supreme Court.
Accordingly, this Contempt Case is disposed of by granting liberty.
