JUDGMENT
The above Writ Petition (C) is filed with the following prayers:
"(i) call for the records leading to the passing of Ext.P5 by the respondent Municipality and quash the same by the issue of a writ of certiorari or other appropriate writ, order or direction;
(ii) call for the records leading to the passing of Ext.P8 order by the Tribunal for Local Self Government Institutions, Thiruvananthapuram and set aside the same;
(iii) issue a writ in the nature of mandamus directing the respondent Municipality not to interfere with the functioning of the petitioner's shop which is his only source of livelihood;
(iv) issue a writ in the nature of mandamus directing the respondent Municipality to take appropriate steps to regularize the so called unauthorized construction after receiving the prescribed compounding fee from the petitioner; and (v) issue such other writ, order or direction as this honourable court deems fit and proper in the circumstances of the case."
