JUDGMENT
The above Writ Petition (C) is filed with the following prayers:
"i) issue a writ of certiorari or any other appropriate writ or order to quash Exhibit P11 and Exhibit P13 as they are issued without jurisdiction and in violation of the statutory deeming provisions of the Kerala Municipality Act ;
ii) issue a writ of mandamus commanding the
1st and 2nd respondents to formally recognize the deemed license status of the petitioner's unit and to issue a physical license certificate in the prescribed format;
iii) Issue a writ of mandamus commanding the
1st and 2nd respondents to permit the petitioner to operate the unit in strength of Exhibit P9 issued by the statutory authorities and based on the deemed license accrued on 22.12.2025;
iv) Declare that the petitioner’s application for a trade license dated 25.09.2024 is deemed to have been allowed by operation of Section 447 (6) of the Kerala Municipality Act , 1994, upon the expiry of thirty days from 21.11.2025, for the granite building stone in the 0.5109 hectors of land in Sy.Nos. 235/2023, 235/25 and 235/2013 in Mananthavady village;
v) exempt the petitioner from producing the English Translation of Malayalam Exhibits produced along with this writ petition, and the petitioner further undertake that he is ready and willing to produce an English Translation of Malayalam documents as and when required;
vi) award cost to the petitioner;
vii) issue any other writ order or direction as this Hon’ble Court may deem fit in the facts and circumstances of the case;"

2. When this Writ Petition came up for consideration, the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that, in the light of Ext.P14 produced in I.A.No.2 of 2026, the petitioner is not interested in pursuing the Writ Petition.
3. If that be the case, this Writ Petition need not be retained here.
Recording the submission of the counsel appearing for the petitioner, this Writ Petition is closed.
