JUDGMENT

This Writ Petition (C) is filed seeking the following reliefs:

"1. Issue a writ of certiorari or any other appropriate writ, direction or order by calling for the records leading to the issuance of exhibit.P7 communication and set aside the same as illegal.

2. Issue a writ of mandamus or any other appropriate writ, order or direction to the second respondent to consider the application for numbering the building submitted by the petitioner afresh without considering the fact that there is an allegation that the property of petitioner is classified as paddy land in the village records.

3. Issue such other writ, orders or directions, which this Honourable court may deem fit and proper in the interest of justice and circumstances of the case."

[SIC]

2. Petitioners challenged Ext.P7. This Court has perused the same. The remedy of the petitioners is to do the needful as per the Kerala Conservation of Paddy Land and Wet Land Act , 2008 (hereinafter referred to as 'the Act 2008'). This writ petition has been pending before this Court from 2019 onwards. I think this writ petition need not be retained here. Petitioners are free to do the needful in accordance with Act 2008.

With the above observation, this writ petition is disposed of.
