Timely disposal of cases is essential to uphold justice and prevent delays in civil proceedings.

JUDGMENT

The prayer in the original petition is for a direction to the Munsiff Court – II(A), Kozhikode to dispose of OS.No.845 of 2016. This Court had called for a report from the Judicial Officer. A report has been received stating that the issues have already been framed and the matter was listed for trial once but got adjourned in view of appointment of Advocate Commissioner. It is stated that a period of eight months time will be required to dispose of the matter.

In view of the report, this original petition is disposed of directing the Additional Munsiff Court – II(A), Kozhikode to consider and dispose of OS.No.845 of 2016, at the earliest, at any rate within eight months from the date of receipt of a copy of this judgment.
