JUDGMENT
The above writ petition is filed seeking the following reliefs:
“i. Issue a writ in the nature of mandamus or such other appropriate writ, order or direction directing the respondent No.1 and 2 to allow Ext-P3 trade license application submitted by the petitioner.
ii. Issue a writ in the nature of certiorari or such other appropriate writ, order or direction quashing Ext P4.
iii. Issue such other writ, order or direction as this Hon’ble Court may deem fit and proper to grant in the facts and circumstances of the case, for the end of justice.
iv. To dispense with production of vernacular documents produced along with the writ petition.” [SIC]
2. When this writ petition came up for consideration on 17.10.2025, this Court passed the following order:
“Admit.
The learned Standing Counsel takes notice for respondents 1 and 2. Issue notice through speed post to respondents 3 and 4.
Considering the facts and circumstances of the case, and also considering the dictum laid down by this Court in Ext.P5 judgment, I think provisional license can be directed to be given to the petitioner. I make it clear that, if the respondents are having any grievance, they are free to file counter affidavit and bring up the matter for hearing.
In the light of the above facts, there will be a direction to respondents 1 and 2 to issue a provisional trade license to the petitioner based on Ext.P3 application, forth with.”
3. Now, the counsel for the petitioner submitted that the same is complied with. If that be the case, in the light of Ext.P5 judgment, the interim order can be made absolute.
Therefore, this Writ Petition is disposed of, retaining the interim order dated 17.10.2025 in the light of Ext.P5 judgment.
