JUDGMENT

1. This Writ Petition is filed by the Petitioner seeking direction to de-freeze its account maintained with the Respondent No.3 Bank. On 07.11.2025 this Court passed an Interim Order directing the Respondent No.3 to permit operation of the Account of the Petitioner mentioned in the Writ Petition retaining an amount of Rs.3,78,989/-, as the total requisition amount reported by the Counsel for Respondent No.3 and the Government Pleader as Rs.3,78,989/-.

2. When this Writ Petition came up for consideration, the learned Senior Counsel for the petitioner submitted that the Writ Petition can be disposed of maintaining the said interim order.

3. The learned standing counsel for the Respondent/

Bank submitted that as on today the total requisition amount is Rs.4,99,815/-.

4. Hence, this Writ Petition is disposed directing the Respondent No.3 to permit operation of the Account of the Petitioner mentioned in the Writ Petition retaining a lien amount of Rs.4,99,815/- subject to the following conditions

1. The disposal of the lien amount shall be in accordance with the SOP for NCRP - CFCFRMS, Custody, Restoration of Money and Grievance Redressal 2026.

2. Petitioner is free to redress its grievance through the Grievance Redressal Mechanism provided under Clause 10 of the above SOP with respect to the lien amount.

3. The Respondent/Bank is free to effect further lien/hold/freeze in case of receipt of future requisitions.
