ORDER
This application is filed under Section 482 of the Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita, 2023 (for short, BNSS ), seeking pre-
arrest bail.
2. The applicants are the accused Nos.5, 8 and 9 in Crime No.129/2026 of Kodakara Police Station, Thrissur District. The offences alleged are punishable under Sections 126 (2), 115(2), 118(2), 296(b) and 74 r/w Section 3 (5) of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita, 2023 .
3. The prosecution case, in short, is that on
12.02.2026, at about 01.00 a.m, at Vakkattukavu Temple compound, the applicants wrongfully restrained the defacto complainant, uttered obscene words at him, beat the defacto complainant, his brother Sujeesh and friend Gokul. Further the applicants repeatedly hit the defacto complainant on his head and nose with a brick resulting in serious injuries including fracture of nasal bone.
