Dated this the 23rd day of March, 2026 JUDGMENT The prayers in this Writ Petition (Criminal) filed under Article
226 of the Constitution of India are as follows:
“i. Issue a writ of Mandamus or any appropriate writ, order or direction commanding the respondents 2 and 3, or any appropriate investigation agency to immediately conduct an appropriate further investigation in Crime No. 1616/2025 registered by the Puthencruze Police station, Ernakulam District, with respect to the contentions in Exhibit P8 FIR and actual facts, in the interest of justice.
ii. To dispense with the translations of vernacular documents .
iii. Any other relief which this Hon’ble Court may deem fit and necessary in the interest of Justice.”
2. The learned Public Prosecutor submitted a report produced by the Investigating Officer. It is reported that the investigation is almost in the final stage.
3. The Investigating Officer is directed to complete the investigation within a period of six months from this day.
The Writ Petition (Criminal) is disposed of as above.
