O R D E R
This application is filed under Section 483 of the Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita , 2023 (for short, BNSS ), seeking regular bail.
2. The applicant is the accused No.1 in Crime No.122/2026 of Kalamassery Police Station, Ernakulam District. The offences alleged are punishable under Sections 20 (b)(ii)(B) and 29 of the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Act , 1985 (for short, 'the NDPS Act').
3. The prosecution case, in short, is that on
13.02.2026 at about 9.00 p.m., the accused persons were found inside a vehicle in possession of contraband ganja. Upon search, the accused No.1 was found in possession of 8.298 kg of ganja and the accused No.2 was allegedly found in possession of 4.036 kg of ganja and thereby committed the offences.
