JUDGMENT

Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner on admission.

2. This original petition is filed seeking a direction to the Debts Recovery Tribunal-II, Ernakulam to dispose of SA No.390 of 2019 by advancing the case to a nearest date as expeditiously as possible.

3. As per Section 17 (6) of the Securitisation and Reconstruction of Financial Assets and Enforcement of Security Interest Act, 2002 the petitioner has an efficacious alternative remedy to approach the DRAT in cases where there is delay in disposal of the SA.

In such circumstances, without prejudice to the right of the petitioner to avail the alternative statutory remedy, this original petition is dismissed.
