ORDER Dated : 30th March, 2026 The sole accused in C.C.103/2021 now pending as L.P.58/2022 before the Chief Judicial Magistrate, Ernakulam arising from crime No.1060/2021 of Ernakulam Central police station, filed this Crl.M.C under Section 482 Cr.P.C praying for quashing all further proceedings against him. The offences alleged against the petitioner are under Sections 498A and 506 IPC .
2. The prosecution case is that the accused being the husband of the de facto complainant subjected her to cruelty, both physically and mentally on the ground of dowry, caused her to sell her landed property, received the sale proceeds from her and threatened to circulate her bedroom scenes in social media and thereby he is alleged to have committed the aforesaid offences.
