JUDGMENT

Petitioner was an applicant for grant of certificate of practice as a Notary. She had applied as per Ext.P2, as early as on 18.06.2021. The grievance of the petitioner, raised in this writ petition, is that her application has not been considered till date.

2. Having heard the learned counsel for the petitioner, as well as the the learned Deputy Solicitor General of India, I am of the view that the writ petition can be disposed of with a direction. Since Ext.P2 application for grant of certificate of practice as a Notary, submitted before the 3rd respondent is pending, there shall be a direction to the said respondent to consider and pass appropriate orders on Ext.P2 application, if pending, as expeditiously as possible, at any rate, within an outer period of 2 months from the date of receipt of a copy of this judgment.

The writ petition is disposed of as above.
