J U D G M E N T

These writ petitions are connected and can be disposed of conveniently

through a common judgment. W.P. (C) No. 11661/2025 shall serve as the

lead case, and the documents shall be referenced as indicated in that writ

petition, unless otherwise indicated.

2. W.P.(C) No. 11661/2025, has been being aggrieved that the

property of the 1st petitioner is being proceeded against under the provisions

of the Kerala Revenue Recovery Act, 1968 (hereinafter referred to as ‘the 1968

Act’) for the recovery of amounts due under an order issued by the State

Consumer Disputes Redressal Commission (hereinafter referred to as ‘the

State Commission’) in C.C. No. 94 of 2014. The petitioners assert that the 3rd

respondent in the writ petition is the younger son of the 1st petitioner and the

younger brother of the 2nd petitioner. They claim that the 3rd respondent

entered into an agreement with the 1st respondent for the construction of a

building, and the proceedings before the State Commission arose from a
