Court directs expeditious disposal of revision petition against rejection of teacher appointment approval.

Headnote:The petitioner, a school teacher, challenged the rejection of appointment approval under relevant education department rules. Essential facts include appointment order (Ext.P1), staff fixation (Ext.P2), G.O. (P) No.29/2016/G.EDN (Ext.P3), rejection order (Ext.P4), appellate order (Ext.P5), and pending revision (Ext.P6). Court directed expeditious disposal of revision. Issue framed: expeditious disposal of revision against rejection of appointment approval. Ratio: Court, after hearing both sides, inclined to dispose writ with direction for consideration of revision after hearing parties. Writ petition disposed directing 1st respondent to pass orders on revision within three months.

JUDGMENT

Aggrieved by Ext.P4 order of rejection of approval of appointment and Ext.P5 appellate order, petitioner has preferred Ext.P6 revision petition before the 1^st respondent. Petitioner seeks for an expeditious disposal of the same.

2. Heard the learned Government Pleader also.

After hearing both sides, I am inclined to dispose of the writ petition with a direction to the 1^st respondent to consider and pass orders on Ext.P6 revision petition preferred by the petitioner, after affording an opportunity of being heard to the petitioner and the 5^th respondent. A decision in this regard shall be taken within an outer limit of three months from the date of receipt of a copy of the judgment.
