O R D E R
This application is filed under Section 483 of the Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita, 2023 (for short, BNSS ), seeking regular bail.
2. The applicant is the accused No.1 in Crime No.621/2025 of Mararikulam Police Station, Alappuzha District. The offences alleged are punishable under Sections 294 (b), 126(2) and 109(1) read with Section 3 (5) of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita, 2023 .
3. The prosecution case, in short, is that on 14.08.2025 at about 04:30 p.m., the accused Nos. 1 and 2 took the defacto complainant aged 19 years to the Mappilasseri Road behind the Russels College at Koottuveli and hurling obscenities, the applicant grabbed the neck of the defacto complainant while the accused No.2 held both his hands towards back and wrongfully restrained him and the applicant stabbed below his chest, caused serious injuries and again aimed on his chest, in an attempt to cause his death and thereby committed the offences.
