O R D E R

This application is filed under Section 483 of the Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita, 2023 (for short, BNSS ), seeking regular bail.

2. The applicant is the accused No.1 in Crime No.360/2026 of Thrikkodithanam Police Station, Kottayam District. The offences alleged are punishable under Section 111 of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita, 2023 , Sections 25 (1-B) (a) and 3 of the Arms Act, 1959 and Section 20 (b)(ii)(A) of the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Act, 1985 .

3. The prosecution case, in short, is that the applicant who is an accused in several cases was possessing a gun without license. A search was conducted in the residence of the applicant on 20.03.2026 at 07:00 a.m., and a revolver with four rounds, and a small box with 31 rounds, 4 knives and 1 weapon like axe were seized. It is further alleged that 5 grams of ganja was also seized from his residence and thereby the applicant committed the offences.
