This application is filed under Section 483 of the Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita, 2023 (for short, BNSS )

seeking regular bail.

Since the offences alleged against the applicant include offences punishable under the Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes (Prevention of Atrocities) Act, 1989 (for short, 'the SC/ST (PoA) Act'), the remedy open to the applicant is to challenge Annexure A2 order in appeal under Section 14A of the SC/ST (PoA) Act. Reserving the said liberty, the bail application is dismissed.
