ORDER
Dated this the 08th day of April, 2026 The accused persons in C.C. No. 1134 of 2023 on the file of the Judicial First Class Magistrate Court-I, Kottayam, arising from Crime No. 798 of 2023 of Manarkad police station, filed this petition under Section 528 of the B.N.S.S. , praying for quashing all further proceedings against them. The offences alleged against the petitioners are under Sections 498A , 341, 323 r/w 34 of the IPC .
2. The prosecution case is that the 1st accused, being the husband of the defacto complainant and the other accused being his relatives subjected her to cruelty both physically and mentally and voluntarily casued hurt to her and thereby they are alleged to have committed the aforesaid offence.
3. According to the learned counsel for the petitioners now the entire dispute between the petitioners and the defacto complainant has been settled. Therefore, he prayed for quashing all further proceedings against the petitioner.
