Regularization of appointment renders challenge to prior daily wage approval infructuous.

Headnote:The petitioner challenged an order approving her appointment on a daily wage basis under relevant education department rules. Subsequent to filing the writ petition, her appointment was regularized by a later order. The court noted the regularization and found no surviving issues in the petition. The primary issue was the validity of the initial daily wage approval and its regularization. The court's reasoning rested on the superseding effect of the regularization order, rendering the challenge moot. Writ petition closed.

JUDGMENT

The petitioner has approached this Court challenging Ext.P2 Order, whereby the appointment of the petitioner was approved on daily wage basis. The petitioner would submit that subsequent to the filing of the Writ Petition, the appointment of the petitioner was approved on a regular basis as per Ext.P9 Order. In the light of Ext.P9 Order, the petitioner submits that nothing survives in this writ petition. Recording the same, this writ petition is closed.
