JUDGMENT The petitioner, who is a senior citizen, has approached this Court to direct the 1st respondent to dispose of Ext P3 petition filed by him within a time frame fixed by this Hon'ble Court.
2. The learned Government Pleader takes notice for respondents 1 and 2.
3. Heard both sides.
4. According to the petitioner, he is a senior citizen aged 76 years and he preferred Ext.P3 petition before the 1st respondent/ Maintenance Tribunal for cancellation of Ext.P1 settlement deed and its correction deed. His grievance is that his son namely 3rd respondent is taking hasty steps to sell the property involved in Ext.P1 deed and if the property is transferred, the petitioner would be put to great hardships.
5. A perusal of Ext.P3 would show that the said application was filed on 12.03.2026.
6. The limited prayer sought in this writ petition is to direct R1 to dispose of Ext.P3 application within a time frame fixed by this Court.
7. Accordingly, this writ petition is disposed of directing 1st respondent to dispose of Ext.P3 petition in accordance with law, as expeditiously as possible, at any rate, within a period of four months from the date of receipt of a copy of this judgment.
