This writ petition under Article 226 of the Constitution is filed by the petitioner, Kishor Kumar P.K., who alleges that his wife, Neethu C.P. is being illegally detained by her father, the 5th respondent. On considering the writ petition for admission, we passed the following order on 23.11.2012:
“Not admitted. Sri.Tom Jose Padinjarakkara, the Additional State Prosecutor, takes notice for R1 to R4. He will seek instructions from the concerned among those respondents as to the correctness of the allegations and accusations in the writ petition and also as to what action, if any, was taken on the complaint stated to have been filed before the police by the petitioner. Issue notice on admission by special messenger to R5. R5 is directed to produce Neethu C.P., who according to the petitioner is his W.P.(Crl.) 591/12 2 wife, before this court at 10.15 AM on 29.11.2012 and also to show cause why the above order for production should not be made absolute.”
Accordingly today Neethu is brought to this court by her father. We interacted with Neethu in detail. Neethu told us that the ceremony purporting to be the marriage conducted as shown in Ext.P1 series phot
