Court directs authorities to expeditiously process NOC application in accordance with law within six weeks.

JUDGMENT

Dated this the 17 ^th day of April, 2026 The petitioner has filed the captioned writ petition, seeking the following reliefs;

1. To issue a writ of mandamus or any other appropriate writ, order or direction, commanding the 1st and 2nd respondents to act upon Exhibit P1 application for NOC dated 05/02/2025 submitted by the petitioner forthwith and to pass appropriate orders thereon taking into consideration of Exhibit P6 and Exhibit P7 NOC from District Fire and Rescue Services and from Kodassery Grama Panchayat and the reports from the Tahsildar within time frame as this Hon'ble Court may deem fit and proper;

II. To pass such other writ, order, or direction that this Hon'ble Court may deem fit and proper in the facts and circumstances of the case;

2. The learned counsel for the petitioner only requests this Court to direct the respondents 1 and 2 to consider and pass orders on Ext.P1 application for No Objection Certificate (NOC).

Taking note of the above, this writ petition is disposed of, directing respondents 1 and 2 to consider and pass orders on Ext.P1 application, as expeditiously as possible, at any rate, within a period of six weeks from today, strictly in accordance with law.
