J U D G M E N T

The petitioners face allegations in a crime registered for offences punishable inter alia under Section 65 of the Copy Right Act. The petitioners have come to this court complaining about inadequate and ineffective investigation. The petitioners pray that the F.I.R may be quashed.

2. The learned Public Prosecutor, after taking instructions submits that the investigation is in progress. The same shall be expeditiously completed. Petitioners are already on bail. There was a dispute as to whether certain relevant documents on which the petitioners want to place reliance have been made available to the investigating officer or not. It is not accepted without any dispute that all documents which the petitioners want to rely on have been made available to the investigating officers. All that remains now is the investigating officer must expeditiously complete the investigation. The learned Public Prosecutor submits that the investigation shall be completed and the final report shall be filed within a period of three months from this date.
