JUDGMENT

K.Surendra Mohan, J The petitioner, husband of the respondent has filed this Original Petition challenging Exts P7 and P8 orders passed by the Family Court, Thiruvananthapuram. Ext P7 is an order dated 18.6.2014 in I.A.No.989 of 2013 in OP No.603 of 2013. I.A.No.989 of 2013 was filed by the petitioner under Order 32 Rule 15 of the Code of Civil Procedure seeking appointment of the mother of the respondent as a guardian. The allegation in OP No.603 of 2013 is that, the respondent is a person of unsound mind. It is for the said reason that, appointment of a guardian under Order 32 Rule 15 of the was sought for by the petitioner. As per Ext P7 order the said petition has been dismissed.

2. I.A.No.1355 of 2014 was filed by the respondent for an order granting pendente-lite alimony. The said petition has been allowed by Ext P8 order granting an amount of Rs.10,000/- per month as alimony and a further amount of Rs.10,000/- as litigation expenses.

3. According to Sri.P.B.Krishnan, who appears for the petitioner, a perusal of Ext P7 order shows that no enquiry as stipulated by Order 32 Rule 15 of the Code of Civil Procedure was conducted by the Family Court before passing Ext
