1.This writ petition is filed seeking issuance of a direction to remove the Administrator and Manager of Sree Chalinarayanapuram Temple, Thannerkukkom, Cherthala in Alappuzha District. As per Ext.P1, this Court noticed that O.S.No.6 of 1999 was pending before the District Court, Alappuzha for a declaration that the temple is not a public temple and that the Devaswom Board should not assume management. By Ext.P1, this Court, inter alia, directed the Administrative Officer, Sree Karthiayani Temple, Cherthala to administer the aforesaid temple. It appears that the Administrator appointed a Manager. That matter came to this Court. As per Ext.P2, the appointment of the Manager was set aside and the Administrator was directed to nominate a person as Manager, after getting permission of this Court. Therefore, the Administrator moved this Court through DBA.No.17 of 2004. In Ext.P4, this Court approved the suggestion of the learned counsel for the Devaswom Board that Sri.Varadaraja Panicker is suitable. He was accordingly, appointed.
