J U D G M E N T
The petitioner had purchased a Water well/Piling Rig from Misana in the State of Gujarat. He has obtained a No Objection Certificate dated 30.07.2010 from the Road Transport Officer, Gujarat, for re-registration of the vehicle before the Regional Transport Officer, Ernakulam. He had also submitted an application on 30.06.2011 for being issued with necessary permit to use his vehicle. He had purchased the Rig by availing a loan from the State Bank of Travancore, Kaloor, Ernakulam. Therefore according to him, the delay in granting registration to his Rig is causing a lot of difficulties and hardships to him.
2. The learned Government Pleader on instructions submitted that a proper application for registration of the petitioner's Rig had not been received by the 3rd respondent. Therefore, the petitioner was directed to submit a fresh application. It is submitted by the petitioner that a fresh application has thereafter been submitted. He has produced Ext.P7 cash receipt for remitting the necessary fee on his application. The learned Government Pleader assures that the petitioner's application would be considered and necessary orders passed thereon within a short time.
