This is a criminal revision petition filed by the revision petitioners aggrieved by the concurrent findings of the courts below.
2. The case of the petitioners is that the petitioners are the accused in C.C.No.934/1999 on the file of the Judicial First Class Magistrate Court-II, Cherthala. The petitioners were convicted and sentenced to undergo simple imprisonment for three months for offence u/s.295 r/w. S.149 IPC . Further petitioners were sentenced to pay a fine of Rs.500/- each, in default, simple imprisonment for 2 months for offence u/s. 427 r/w. S.149 . They were also sentenced to undergo simple imprisonment for 3 months for offence u/s.147 r/w. S.149 of . As accused were sentenced for offence u/s.147 , no separate sentence is seen imposed for offence u/s.143 r/w. S.149 of . Aggrieved by the above said conviction and sentence, the revision petitioners herein moved before the appellate court by filing Criminal Appeal No.186/2004. The said criminal appeal was also not successful and the appeal was dismissed. Aggrieved by the same, the revision petitioners moved before this court.
