JUDGMENT
This is an application filed by the petitioner claiming the following reliefs:
(1) To issue a writ of Mandamus or any other appropriate writs, directions or orders directing the 2nd respondent to conduct video recording of the affairs in the polling booth for the election of the 1st respondent society which is scheduled to be held on 21.4.2013.
(2) To grant such other reliefs which are just and proper in the nature of this case.
(3) To grant the cost of the proceedings from the respondents.
2. The facts of the case mentioned in the writ petition are as follows:
1st respondent is a society and election to elect the Director Board Members of the society is scheduled to be held on 21.4.2013. 2nd respondent is the returning officer for the said election. The society is now being governed by members led by the coalition of the political parties called Left Democratic Front (LDF). The petitioner is a member of the 1st respondent society. Petitioner is the Mandalam President of Congress Party. The petitioner is a candidate contesting to the director board membership in the election.
