JUDGMENT
The petitioner has filed the captioned writ petition pointing out the alleged illegal action of the 5threspondent in permitting the 6threspondent to conduct the Farm Fair and Agri Machinaries Expo – 2026, without any public tender and seeking the following reliefs;
“(i) Issue a writ in the nature of mandamus or any other appropriate writ, order or direction directing to the 3rd respondent to consider the Exhibit P4 representation and cancel the permission/license of the 6th respondent to conduct the “Farm Fair and Agri Machineries Expo – 2026” in the premises of the 5th respondent at Ambalavayal.
(ii) Issue a writ in the nature of mandamus or any other appropriate writ, order or direction directing the respondents 3 and 4 to cancel the permission/license issued by the 5threspondent to the 6threspondent on the ground of non- following the principles of public tender.”
In the nature of the reliefs proposed to be granted, notice to the
6th respondent is dispensed with.
2. Taking note of the stand taken by the 5th respondent in Ext.P3 letter addressed to the petitioner, this writ petition is disposed of as under;
