J U D G M E N T
Dated this the 8th day of April, 2026 The writ petition is filed aggrieved by Ext.P3 order passed by the Kerala State Minority Commission, whereby the Commission directed the Director General of Police to depute an officer in the rank of Superintendent of Police, working outside Alappuzha District, to conduct an enquiry against the petitioner in respect of a complaint filed by the 5th respondent.
2. While considering this writ petition, this Court, by order dated 04.04.2025, directed the 2nd respondent to comply with the direction of the Commission in Ext.P3 and to file a report before this Court within four months from the date of receipt of a copy of the order. Aggrieved by the same, the petitioner preferred Writ Appeal No. 984 of 2025. The Division Bench of this Court allowed the writ appeal, finding that no case was made out to invoke the power under Section 9(c) of the Kerala State Commission for Minorities Act, 2014.
