J U D G M E N T

The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the legal issue raised in this writ petition is concluded by the judgment of the Hon'ble Supreme Court in Civil Appeal No.6588 of 2015 rendered on 14.10.2022. The Hon'ble Supreme Court held that a member of the Society executing the document in his own capacity or in the capacity of a guardian or a minor shall not be entitled to the benefit of remission of stamp duty.

In view of the authoritative pronouncement by the Hon'ble Supreme Court, this writ petition is dismissed.
