ORDER
This application is filed under Section 483 of the Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita, 2023 (for short, BNSS), seeking regular bail.
2. The applicant is the sole accused in Crime No.80/2026 of Ayiroor Police Station, Thiruvananthapuram District. The offences alleged are punishable under Sections 4 r/w 3(a) and 6 r/w 5(j)(ii) of the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences Act, 2012 (PoCSO Act).
3. The prosecution case, in short, is as follows:- The applicant and the victim were employed at Surprise supermarket in Kurakkanni. One day in the month of July, 2025, at about 07.30 p.m., the applicant offered a lift to the victim, and she accompanied him. He then took her to a resort at Manthara, where he compelled her to lie on a bed, forcibly removed her clothing, and engaged in sexual intercourse against her will. Subsequently, the victim became pregnant. Thus the applicant has committed the above offences.
