ORDER

This application is filed under Section 483 of the Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita, 2023 (for short, BNSS), seeking regular bail.

2. The applicant is the accused in Crime No.63/2026 of Chittur Police Station, Palakkad District. The offence alleged is punishable under Section 103(1) of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita, 2023 (for short, the BNS).

3. The prosecution case, in short, is that, on

14.01.2026 at 05.30 p.m., the applicant, due to the grudge against the deceased Sarath, who is his wife’s sister’s husband, for caring his wife Raji and their son who have been living separately from him for the past five years, with intent to commit murder of the deceased, beat him at the road in front of the gate of KVM UP School at Polpully, stabbed him with a key of the bike on his neck, by which he sustained serious injuries on his neck that caused his death and thereby committed the offence.
