THIS CONTEMPT OF COURT CASE (CIVIL) HAVING COME UP FOR ADMISSION ON 18.06.2026, THE COURT ON THE SAME DAY DELIVERED THE FOLLOWING:
VIJU ABRAHAM, J.
Dated this the 18th day of June, 2026

Advocates:
For the Appellants/Petitioners: P.Sivaraj
For the Respondents: G. Biju

A contempt of court proceeding may be closed if the petitioner acknowledges that the directions issued in the underlying judgment have been fully complied with by the respondents.

Headnote:The petitioner filed a contempt of court case alleging non-compliance with the directions issued in a previously decided writ petition. The court reviewed the submissions made by the petitioner after acknowledging the receipt of eligible benefits. The central issue was whether the respondents failed to comply with the court's earlier mandate. The court determined that since the petitioner confirmed the receipt of all eligible benefits as directed, the contempt proceedings were no longer sustainable. The Contempt of Court case is closed.

JUDGMENT

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that all the eligible benefits have been received as per the directions in the judgment dated 04.03.2026 in W.P.(C) No.41731 of 2024.

In the light of the above, the Contempt of Court Case is closed.
