THIS WRIT PETITION (CIVIL) HAVING COME UP FOR ADMISSION ON 09.06.2026, THE COURT ON THE SAME DAY DELIVERED THE FOLLOWING:
J U D G M E N T
The petitioner has filed Exts.P12 and P13 applications before the respondent, seeking approval for the transplantation under the Transplantation of Human Organs and Tissues Act, 1994.
2. Heard Sri.C.M.Mohammed Iquabal, the learned counsel for the petitioner, as well as Smt.Sylaja S.L., the learned Government Pleader.
3. Instead of disposing of the afore applications, the respondent has issued Ext.P14 communication seeking further details.
4. The learned counsel for the petitioner states that the respondent may be directed to consider and pass orders on Exts.P12 and P13, within a time frame.
5. I am of the opinion that the prayer made in the writ petition requires to be accepted, since, if Exts.P12 and P13 are not otherwise allowable, it is for the respondent to consider and pass appropriate orders thereon, and not issue a communication in the nature of Ext.P14.
Therefore, this writ petition would stand disposed
