JUDGMENT
This writ petition is filed by the elder daughter of one Eldho Thomas, a convict prisoner presently lodged at the Central Prison and Correctional Home, Poojappura. The convict is undergoing life imprisonment pursuant to the judgment passed in S.C. No. 821 of 2017 on the files of the Additional District and Sessions Court-II, Thiruvananthapuram.
2. The grievance of the petitioner is that her younger sister’s Plus Two supplementary examinations are scheduled to be conducted from 29.06.2026 to 02.07.2026, and the emotional support of her father is highly required for her to perform well in the examinations.
3. According to the petitioner, on an earlier occasion also, the convict was granted parole so as to give support and care to her younger sister during the examination
