This application is filed under Section 483 of the Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita, 2023 (for short, BNSS), seeking regular bail.
2. The applicant is the sole accused in Crime No.745/2026 of Thumba Police Station, Thiruvananthapuram District. The offences alleged are punishable under Sections 55(a) and 55(i) of the Kerala Abkari Act.
3. The prosecution case, in short, is that the applicant was found in unauthorised possession and sale of total quantity of 17.5 litres (35 bottles x 500 ml) of Indian Made Foreign Liquor under different label names, kept it in 35 bottles of 500 ml each, in his car bearing Reg.No.KL22-L 5579, on the service road of Kuzhivila Junction - Gokulam Grant Hotel, Kuzhivila Ward in Alltippra Village, at 20.30 hou
