The petitioner has filed this petition to direct the respondent No.1 & 2 to take action against the third respondent to retrieve the petitioner original document i.e., Settlement deed bearing Document No.553/1996 registered before the Senthamangalam Sub Registrar Office by considering the petitioner representation dated 18.10.2024.

2. The case of the petitioner is that the petitioner's husband namely Pothanayakar died as intestate on 13.01.2021 leaving behind the petitioner and one daughter namely Rajeshwari and the third respondent. The Petitioner's husband executed a gift deed comprised in S.F.No.42/5 measuring to an extent of 0.98 ¾ acre in favour of the petitioner vide registered settlement deed dated 08.05.1996, registered as document No.553 of 1996 on the file of Sub Registrar, Sethamangalam. The Petitioner's daughter lodged a complaint with Inspector of Police, Naliyampalayam against the third respondent vide C.S.R.No.276 of 2023 for compelling the petitioner to transfer the properties in his name and thrashed the petitioner out of the house on 09.10.2023.
